Notification Preferences: When you enable Editorial Reminders, we save your preferred reminder time (e.g., 02:00 PM) to manage reminder triggers.
B. Device Permissions
To provide its core features, the App may request access to:
Notifications (android.permission.POST_NOTIFICATIONS): Required on Android 13 (API level 33) and above to send you daily vocabulary reminders and updates. You can enable or disable this at any time in the App settings or device system settings.
Network & Internet Access: Required to download offline dictionary databases, sync news editorial files, and fetch push notifications.

3. Data Storage and Security
- Local Storage: All offline vocabulary content, search histories, bookmarks, and user configurations are stored locally on your device. Clearing App storage or uninstalling the App will delete this local data.
- Server Synchronization: When notification preferences are updated, the FCM token and preferred notification time are synced with our secure database to schedule daily alerts. We implement industry-standard security measures to safeguard this communication.

These Services do not address anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13 years of age. In the case we discover that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we immediately delete this from our servers.
